IF BOOKING A PERMANENT MAKEUP TREATMENT,

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING THOROUGHLY:

Appointments & Deposit Policy:

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your appointment and it will go towards your treatment price.  If you need to reschedule, please do so no less than 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting your deposit and an additional $100 will be required to re-book an appointment.  If you are booking a weekend appointment slot, your deposit will be $250 due to a higher demand for weekend appointments and to avoid last minute cancellations/no-shows.

Please keep in mind that your brows will be incomplete without your 6-week touch-up. It is also your responsibility to schedule your 6-12 week touch-up appointment. This must be done no longer than 3 months after your initial treatment. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your appointment and it will go towards your treatment price.  If you need to reschedule, please do so no less than 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting your deposit and an additional $100 will be required to re-book an appointment.

The process will take anywhere between 2-3 hours depending on the difficulty level of your eyebrows.

Please have your brows waxed/threaded/tweezed a minimum of 3 days prior to your appointment.

Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed in the salon because it is a tattoo establishment.

Due to privacy reasons, no third person party may be in the treatment area with you.

Please make sure you DO NOT have any special events to attend for at least 10 days after your treatment.  You will need time for your eyebrows to heal and it will appear flaky with scabs.

Please DO NOT schedule your appointment during your menstrual cycle, you may feel more sensitivity at this time.

Please DO NOT drink alcohol OR coffee/caffeine the day before, day of, and day after your treatment.  This is very important.  Doing so can lead to excessive bleeding which will cause the pigments to be pushed out by blood.  This will also cause poor and/or delayed healed results. If you forgot to follow this, it is better to reschedule than to take the risk of having poor results.

If you have extremely oily skin, the microblading technique might NOT work well for you. The constant production of oil will cause the hairstrokes to heal with a diffused, softer look. Your end result will look more powdered than you would expect. You do, however, have other options such as the powdered brow/ombre technique. However, I have performed successful microblading on oily skin and have had great results- the only downfall is that it will fade alot faster and will require more frequent touch-ups.

*If you are a frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the treatment will not last as long.

*If you are a frequent smoker, your pigment will fade sooner.

*If you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, be aware that this may affect your sensitivity tolerance to the procedure.

*If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure.

*If you are iron deficient or Anemic, your pigment will fade sooner and bleeding/bruising may occur during and after the procedure.  Your eyebrows may turn BLACK once healed.

Microblading is NOT recommended for people suffering from diabetes, inflammatory skin diseases, skin with broken Capillaries, acne, epilepsy, sick, botox (in the past 4 weeks), Chemotherapy (unless cleared by your doctor), history of Keloids or Hypertrophic scarring, heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, moles, keratosis, excessive sebum, very dry or peeling skin or have Seborrheic dermatitis in the eyebrow area, pregnant or breastfeeding women and people who are not sure if they really want the procedure.

The healing process will look something like this:

who not for

As you can see, eyebrows are EXTREMELY dark, highly arched, and much larger due to swelling directly after treatment.  Please be aware of this and know that you will lose 30-50% of your color, the size will shrink, and your arch will come down as it heals. Your brows will continue to adjust it's color and shape over the next few weeks. Immediately after the flaking process, it may appear as if there is no color left.  As your skin regenerates, the color will "re-bloom" over the next few weeks.  This is why you cannot judge your brows until the 6-week mark.  Brows may appear "patchy" - DO NOT panic, it is completely normal! That is why the 6 week touch up is very crucial.  Please be aware this is a 2-step process.  DO NOT expect perfection at your first appointment; it is unrealistic. Your touch-up appointment is when we will make corrections and darken your brows if needed.  We will, however, try our best to make them as perfect as we can.  Eyebrows are sisters, NOT twins. =) Everyone's skin heals differently and that can also affect the outcome.  After your brows are completely finished flaking off, you may fill them in with a brow pencil.
